Office Practice

Dr. Marcus is available to speak by phone to see if his practice is a good fit for the needs of a patient or family, free of charge.

Initial evaluations for adults are structured as a 90 minute intake appointment. Here, we will talk through any past mental health care, current challenges, and goals of treatment.

For children and adolescents, initial evaluations are structured as a three part intake. The first part is meeting with parents or guardians; the second part is meeting with the child or adolescent; and the third part is a feedback session where Dr. Marcus and parents (and child/adolescent when appropriate) will discuss treatment goals.

Treatment can be done virtually, but initial evaluations are done in-person whenever possible. For young children, at least some in-person appointments are necessary.

Dr. Marcus practices out-of-network and does not accept insurance. Billing statements will include services rendered so that the patient can obtain out-of-network insurance reimbursement. It is the responsibility of the patient to submit claims to insurance.
